Mounted Fury Joust troupe was started in 2004 when Shannon Blanchard and a group of her advanced students at Cedar Springs Equestrian Center were asked to put together a unique performance for the University of Arkansas Horse Festival.  "We had a blast and the audience loved it, and suddenly we found ourselves in demand for shows and school demos", says Shannon.  The ladies of Mounted Fury now perform at events all over the region.  For more information and pictures see:  www.mountedfury.com

The 2009 Horse Festival was a success again this year. Thanks to all the jousting girls for all the hard work and suffering through the cold and sleet to put on a great show! We had good audiences for both shows, even keeping the crowd there for the grand finale--jousting-- in the bad weather!
I can't wait for next month's rehearsal!

 I have updates from the NWA Renaissance Festival board! I am now in charge of the advertising committee!! Maybe we will finally get somewhere now....
We have decided on performing at the Horse Festival, NWA Renaissance Festival and our own Dinner Theater this year so it's time to get to work!!!
